The reviews of this unit have been nothing but good so far. With a Five Year warranty on this unit we feel comfortable recommending this mechanical dehumidifier to anyone who is in the market for a top quality dehumidification device for their home at a great price. Several people who have reviewed this product were simply amazed at the amount of water this machine removed from their spaces and just how quickly it had a full bucket of water. Although there still seems to be some confusion about the capacities of home dehumidifiers in general, please keep in mind that the capacities stated are the amount of water the unit will remove in 24 hours NOT the capacity of the collection bucket so you may have to empty more often depending on the amount of moisture in your environment.
Another reviewer commented about the sound of the fan being kind of like a “white noise generator” or a box fan which should be more than acceptable for the majority of the users. If you are looking for a machine that makes absolutely NO noise then this dehumidifier may not be for you. You may be interested in a Peltier type of dehumidifier as they are virtually silent during their operation.
